Founder of Moody Brit
Will Beaton is a writer, director and content creator from London, UK who has resided in Los Angeles since 2008. He established his production company Moody Brit in 2016. This bold and exciting move marked the culmination of working in the film and television industry building up a wealth of invaluable experience in production on the principal set and in post-production at some of London and Los Angeles’s premier post houses.
He has worked alongside great directors like Alfonso Cuaron, Steve McQueen and Guillermo Del Toro and directed his own work at places as varied as Glastonbury music festival, the rain forests of Guyana and the beaches of Goa India.
Will’s first short film, It’s Different For Girls, was broadcast in the UK on network Channel 4 and more recently his short film Punch Face Moan received it’s world premiere at Academy accredited Cleveland International Film Festival. He directed episodes of The Comment Show for online network Vevo and earlier this year a commemorative film making 25 years of House Of Blues featuring Dan Aykroyd. Currently he is developing a feature documentary about his late father and actor Norman Beaton entitled To Be a King and a number of TV, web and feature projects.
